An original silkscreen print by Daria Tessler of Animal Sleep Stories. Screenprinting, or silkscreening, is a multi-step process in which a separate drawing and stencil are created for each color in the print. Colored ink is pressed through the stencil onto the paper beneath, then allowed to dry before the next color is added. The final silkscreen is the result of several layers of ink. This print is signed and numbered by the artist, and is part of a limited run.

Daria Tessler was born in Finland and raised in Los Angeles. She currently lives in Portland, Oregon where she draws and screenprints characters of all shapes and sizes who adventure through jumbled, mysterious worlds.
